RFP Exemption Criteria                          Request for Comments

The Connecticut Energy Advisory Board (CEAB) issued a Request for Comment (RFC) on a Straw Proposal that establishes criteria the CEAB may consider in deciding whether to exempt projects from a Reactive Request for Proposal process pursuant to Conn. Gen. Stat. Sec. 16a-7c(b) as modified by Section 54 of Public Act 07-242, An Act Concerning Electricity and Energy Efficiency. Written comments and recommendations on the Straw Proposal set forth in the Request received by the August 31, 2007 deadline appear below as well as the full RFC including history, goals, discussion and the draft straw proposal.

On CEAB Reactive Exemption Criteria

 

Pursuant to Section 54 of Public Act 07-242, An Act Concerning Electricity and Energy Efficiency, the Connecticut Energy Advisory Board (CEAB) by December 1, 2007 will adopt criteria that the CEAB may consider in deciding whether to exempt a project from a Reactive Request for Proposal (RFP). In August 2007, the CEAB solicited Written Comments on a Straw Proposal that set forth draft exemption criteria and related discussion. The initial Straw Proposal and Written Comments received are available on the adjacent section of this web page.

On October 10, 2007, the CEAB held a public hearing to solicit further public input on RFP exemption criteria.
